For our headquarters in Alkmaar, we are looking for a:

HR Generalist

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team. This role will focus on supporting HR operations across multiple entities, with a strong emphasis on payroll, HR administration, and recruitment. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth employee experience, while also contributing to international HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will have the flexibility to manage your own workload and priorities, with regular check ins to align on HR operations, ongoing recruitment needs, and projects such as performance management, international compensation and benefits, and the implementation of a global HRIS.

Your Key Activities

Support HR Administration Payroll

  • Act as the liaison for payroll for all Dutch entities and support payroll processes for US entities
  • Support payroll preparation, contract management, and maintaining accurate employee records
  • Handle HR documentation, onboarding and offboarding, leave requests, and benefits administration
  • Maintain accurate employee data and ensure compliance with policies and guidelines
  • Provide first line support for employee questions and day to day HR matters

Recruitment

  • Support recruitment activities across multiple teams
  • Schedule and support interviews, maintain candidate communication, and assist hiring managers
  • Assist with drafting job postings and managing applicant tracking workflows

HR Projects and Process Improvements

  • Help implement HR automation tools and digital HR workflows
  • Support HR projects such as selecting new payroll tooling and HRIS systems
  • Improve administrative processes and contribute to efficiency initiatives
  • Support employee engagement activities and broader HR projects
  • Contribute to other interesting HR projects such as international compensation and benefits, performance management, and the implementation of a global HRIS

Our Job Requirements

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in an HR role
  • Affinity with payroll and HR administration is a must

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive, hands on mindset with a passion for building a positive workplace culture
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a fast growing international organization

What We Offer

  • A competitive gross annual salary ranging from €40,000 to €60,000 (based on full time employment)
  • A bonus scheme up to 12 percent of your annual salary
  • 25 vacation days plus 13 additional ATV days (based on full time employment)
  • Participation in our company pension plan with a 3.5 percent employee contribution
